What Drives the Price of an LED Video Wall
An LED video wall is not a single product. It’s a system made up of panels, processors, mounting hardware, cabling, control software and commissioning time. Change any one of those and the price shifts.
Here are the biggest cost drivers you’ll see on any Irish quote.
- Pixel pitch — the distance between LEDs, measured in millimetres. Finer pitch means sharper image at close range, and higher cost.
- Indoor or outdoor rating — outdoor panels need higher brightness (typically 5,000+ nits), weatherproofing and thermal management.
- Screen size and shape — curved, corner or ceiling-mounted walls need more structural work.
- Processing hardware — brands like Novastar and Pixelhue add cost but deliver reliability for multi-source content.

Estimated Indoor LED Video Wall Cost Per m²
Indoor walls are the most common request we get, especially for hotels, arenas, corporate lobbies, retail flagships and nightclubs. Pricing hinges almost entirely on pixel pitch.
Fine Pitch (P1.5 to P2.6) — Premium Close-Viewing
These panels are used where the audience stands within 3 to 5 metres of the screen. Think corporate boardrooms, broadcast studios, luxury retail and high-end hospitality.
Expect €5,500 to €8,500 per m² installed. The largest in-venue LED wall in Ireland, delivered at The Gleneagle Arena, uses 2.6mm pitch panels across a 10m x 4m main wall for exactly this reason.
Standard Indoor Pitch (P2.9 to P3.9)
The workhorse range for venues, event spaces, sports arenas and conference centres where viewers sit 4 to 10 metres back. Sharp enough for most content, priced sensibly.
Budget €3,200 to €5,200 per m² installed. This is where most Irish clients land.
Larger Pitch (P4 to P6 Indoor)
Suitable for very large indoor screens viewed from further back, such as sports halls and arenas. Lower resolution per panel, so you get more screen area for less money.
Typical cost is €2,800 to €4,000 per m² installed.
Outdoor LED Video Wall Pricing Per m²
Outdoor screens are a different animal. They need to survive Irish weather, be visible in direct sunlight and often carry higher refresh rates for televised sport.

- P4 to P5 outdoor — €5,500 to €7,500 per m² installed. Suitable for stadium screens, event backdrops and large-format outdoor advertising.
- P6 to P8 outdoor — €4,500 to €6,000 per m² installed. Used for larger screens viewed from 15 metres or more.
- P10 outdoor perimeter — €3,800 to €5,500 per m² installed. Common for pitchside LED at GAA grounds and sports stadiums.
Structural mounting, weatherproof power feeds and content delivery infrastructure typically add another 10% to 20% on top of the panel cost for outdoor jobs. For pitchside runs of up to 300 metres, the economics scale differently and are usually quoted as a bespoke project.
LED Video Wall Rental Costs for Events
If you don’t need a permanent install, hiring is often the smarter choice. Rental pricing in Ireland is quoted per square metre per day, with the total shaped by event duration, indoor or outdoor use and whether you need a full crew.
Indoor Rental Screens
Typical daily rate is €180 to €280 per m² for a single-day event, dropping to around €90 to €140 per m² per day across a week-long deployment.
Outdoor Rental Screens
Outdoor rental sits between €250 to €400 per m² per day for shorter events, with weekly rates coming down to roughly €130 to €200 per m² per day.
Delivery, install, on-site technician support and derig are usually quoted separately. A basic 20m² indoor wall for a conference, delivered and installed by a full crew, typically lands around €6,000 to €9,000 all-in for a single day. Hidden Costs Most Quotes Don’t Show
Panel price is only part of the story. Here’s where budgets tend to get blown if you’re not careful.
- Processing and control — Novastar and Pixelhue processors can add €2,000 to €12,000 depending on wall size and complexity.
- Structural steel and rigging — for ceiling-hung or free-standing walls, engineering sign-off and steelwork can add €3,000 to €15,000.
- Power upgrades — large walls often need a dedicated circuit or three-phase supply. Electrical works can add €1,500 to €6,000.
- Content creation and media server — a proper media playback system runs €1,200 to €4,500, and content design is separate again.
