Does the board show sets and games as well as points?
Yes. Sets, games and the current game score all sit on the one display, with a serve indicator beside the player who is serving. Our scoreboard software is written in house, so the layout is set to your competition before the board is delivered. Tell us the format you play when you book and it arrives ready for it.
Can the board handle a tiebreak or a match tiebreak?
Tell us which finish your competition uses when you enquire and we will set the board for it. Because the software is our own, the game score display can be switched over to a running count for a tiebreak rather than staying on the fifteen, thirty and forty sequence. Confirm the format at booking and it comes configured.
Can one board cover several courts at a tournament?
Larger video boards can carry more than one match at a time, along with the order of play and the draw, which is the usual setup for a graded open running four or six courts together. Smaller boards are built for one court each. Tell us how many courts are in play and we will advise on the right approach.
Will the board cope with Irish weather on outdoor courts?
Outdoor boards are built for outdoor use, with weather resistance and higher brightness than an indoor panel so the digits stay readable in flat daylight. We position the board clear of play and secure it for wind on the day of delivery. If your courts are floodlit, the board is set to a level that suits evening play.
